Although they did not pull the complete sweep, the Etowah Eagles claimed their sixth-straight all-around title at the Cherokee County Swimming Championships Saturday at the Central Cobb Aquatic Center, in Marietta.

Highlighted by the Lady Eagles’ domination in the girls’ standings—outscoring runner-up Woodstock 439-187—Etowah totaled 700 points. Woodstock (455 points), which edged Etowah, 268-261, to claim the boys’ title, was second overall, followed by Sequoyah (365) in third. River Ridge (140) finished just out in front of fifth-place Creekview (136), while Cherokee rounded out the team scoring with 24 points.
