Dear Editor,
My family and I strongly support Medical Associates of North Georgia and thank them deeply for their recent ads in the Cherokee Ledger-News.
We believe that they have placed their priorities and those of our military in proper perspective relating to the Occupy protesters.
Our military personnel are placing their lives on the line for us, giving of themselves and not taking, complaining or demanding as we see by the actions of the protestors.
America is the “Land of Opportunity,” and it will be for those who prepare themselves by getting educated and learning salable skills that the market needs. Times change and the need for certain skills does change; that is why good education and training are so important.
America cannot cater to a loosely knit collection of whiners and complainers who are so self-absorbed that they feel entitled to every personal comfort. Our military does not act like that but goes wherever needed.
Ask yourselves if you would rather your daughter or son marry a soldier or an occupier.
