Cobb EMC to hold elections March 31

Published: 31 January 2012 Cobb EMC has received approval from Cobb County Superior Court Judge Stephen Schuster to combine upcoming substitute 2009 and 2010 annual meetings originally scheduled for Feb. 18 and May 12, according to Sam Kelly, Cobb EMC senior vice president of public relations. One meeting, where members may vote in person on board of directors members, will be held March 31.

From the National Newspaper Association Readers in areas served by community newspapers continue to prefer the community newspaper as their source of local news and advertising, according to the 2011 results of an annual survey conducted by the National Newspaper Association and the research arm of the Reynolds Journalism Institute at the Missouri School of Journalism. The survey is in its sixth year.
