A 63-year-old Canton woman faces a felony obstruction charge after she allegedly rammed a Woodstock patrol vehicle while the officer was inside. According to the report, Linda Vickers also was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, two counts of simple battery and shoplifting, as she attempted to leave Kohl’s allegedly without paying. Woodstock officers responded to the department store after a store employee reportedly witnessed Vickers pass all points of sales with a bag containing just under $200 worth of merchandise. When confronted, Vickers reportedly became combative with the store’s loss prevention officer and proceeded to her car; Woodstock officers were on scene and blocked her from reversing. The report said officers yelled at Vickers to unlock the door, but she said “no,” put the car into reverse and proceeded to back up into a patrol car.
